San Joaquin Valley, CA – A Freeze Warning remains in effect for rural areas of the San Joaquin Valley through Tuesday morning, with temperatures expected to dip below freezing, according to the National Weather Service Hanford Office.
The National Weather Service (NWS) Hanford reports a 40% to near 100% chance of freezing conditions, particularly in northern and western parts of the valley, according to the National Weather Service Hanford Office.
By midweek, a strong Pacific storm is forecast to bring heavy rain and mountain snow to Central California. The system, fueled by an atmospheric river, could drop over an inch of rain in the valley and up to two feet of snow above 6,500 feet. Snow levels may briefly dip to 3,000 feet before rising.
