Summary=Still tormented by the past's uncomfortable memories, decades after surviving the harsh winter at the Overlook Hotel in The Shining (1980), it's only natural that a now-sad Dan Torrance has grown up into an alcoholic and a drifter. However, after managing for years to suppress his rare gift, Dan decides to put "The Shining" to good use as the local hospice's benevolent "Doctor Sleep"; and before he knows it, he makes contact with Abra Stone: a young girl with far more superior shining abilities. Worst Stephen King adaptation I have ever seen! The TV Mini series of The Shining years ago was so much better! As soon as it was over, the handful of folks in the theater just got up and walked out. A failure/similar vampire story but instead of drinking blood they sniff "souls" in order to keep them selves alive. Boring script, shallow and weak acting in combination with the shallow storytelling creates a really long and boring movie. Its one of the few times I could not finish a movie. Watch doctor sleep full movie online 123movies. I found her death more satisfying here than in the book but in the book jacks ghost helped him and abra push her to her death. Even though I'm a fan of RWBY and noticed the Emerald figure and RWBY posters in her room, I didn't catch on that Abra was making herself look like Emerald, mostly because her hair to me in the scene looks more blue than mint green. Oh, blew me away! If just didn't seem like it was THAT long ago. Lloyd is the demon/devil/hotel/whatever the hell it is possessing Jacks body. A faceless entity manifesting itself in Jack Torrence. The hotel is trying to take Dannys soul right here. By tainting his soul it could fulfill a plan where it could possibly take Abra and Roses soul too. The whole “put upon” speech is the hotel trying to convince Danny to let go. Even now the hotel is trying to hatch its own plans on Danny. I find it interesting that Jack might be somewhere in Lloyd. I say this because Jack slaps the glass of whisky away, but Im not sure this has any merit.
