Actress Lori Loughlin has reportedly ended her fight for innocence and will plead guilty to a charge stemming from the college admissions scandal and will serve jail time.

Loughlin is best known for her role as Aunt Becky on the television show Full House.

The U.S. District Attorney's office in Massachusetts announced the deal on Thursday. Loughlin is supposed to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. The plea deal also includes a two-month prison sentence and a $150,000 fine coupled with two years of supervised release with 100 hours of community service.

Her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, a fashion designer, has also reportedly agreed to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and honest services wire and mail fraud. He set to serve five months in prison for his participation.

The Huffmans, became the face of the college admissions scandal last March along with fellow actress Felicity Huffman, who served her time in an earlier plea deal. Dozens of parents were charged with committing fraud to get their children into elite schools by cheating on entrance exams and falsifying athletic backgrounds.

Took the privileged couple quite a while to admit that....along with the troublesome little fact they weren't going to win. Not a shining example. Props to Felicity. Producing high-end photos of her daughters as competitive rowers for admission, took away whatever claim of innocence she could make.

Huffman made out a little better serving 11 days in jail last October. Had she fallen on her sword like Huffman, this could be behind her. Sad really that for months she refused to take responsibility for her actions. Her career is toast!

The penalty shouldn't be as lenient as she would have gotten if she had worked with the courts in the first place. They were trying to help her then. I don't know it will turn out, but she shouldn't get off easier than that other celebrity did.

Should have pled out from the start. Over a year later, how much have they spent on lawyers, and how much more time will they get for not working a deal from the start?

I suppose they learned the hard (and expensive) way that they are not privileged when it comes to the law.
