Commuters on State Route 24 Eastbound, particularly near the Camino Pablo Off-Ramp near Lafayette, are urged to exercise caution due to an ongoing animal hazard reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

At approximately 3:41 PM, CHP received reports of three black cows spotted on the right-hand side of the road, posing a potential risk to motorists traveling along this stretch of SR-24.

According to CHP updates, as of 4:06 PM, officers are actively addressing the situation.
