In a disturbing incident on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, a black SUV careened onto the sidewalk at Dos Rios Street and North B Street, striking a tent occupied by three individuals. The collision resulted in major injuries to all three victims, who were subsequently rushed to local hospitals for urgent medical treatment.

The Sacramento Police Department has launched an investigation into the hit-and-run incident, which occurred around 5:23 pm. Authorities are seeking any witnesses or individuals with pertinent information to come forward and assist in identifying the responsible driver. The vehicle involved is described as a black Tahoe with noticeable front-end damage and custom wheels.

"We are urging anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has information regarding the whereabouts of the vehicle to reach out to the Sacramento Valely Crike Stoppers," stated a spokesperson from the Sacramento Police Department. A cash reward is being offered for anonymous tips that lead to the apprehension of the driver involved in this reprehensible act.

The incident, classified under reference number CS 24-020, has left the community deeply concerned about pedestrian safety and the welfare of those impacted by reckless driving. The identities and current conditions of the injured individuals have not been disclosed.
