A United States Postal Service (USPS) letter carrier was subjected to a harrowing ordeal when they were robbed at gunpoint on Saturday, April 13, 2024, around 2:19 PM in the vicinity of the 4600 block of Granada Way in Union City. The incident left the letter carrier with minor injuries, and they were subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.
According to reports from the Union City Police Department, the suspects involved in the robbery are still at large despite ongoing efforts to locate and apprehend them. Fortunately, the police department has reassured the community that there are no known active threats stemming from this incident. However, residents are strongly urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities promptly to the Union City Police Department (UCPD).
