Kingsport, Tenn. – The Kingsport Chamber will hold its 32nd Annual Golf Scramble this May, offering an expanded two-day event at the prestigious Ridgefields golf course. The event, set for May 13 and 14, is a testament to the community's enthusiasm for golf and the Chamber's commitment to providing participants with an engaging and competitive experience.
Due to the event's growing popularity, organizers have scheduled four flights over the two days, with tee times at 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day. This format accommodates a broader range of participants, allowing golfers to select from morning or afternoon flights according to their preference or even participate in more than one flight if desired.
Caroline Luethke, the Kingsport Chamber's Communications & Events Coordinator, expressed excitement about the event's return and the opportunity to expand it over two days. The scramble will include awards for the top three places in all four flights for both the morning and afternoon rounds each day, adding to the competitive spirit of the event.
In addition to the main competition, the scramble will feature hole competitions, including contests for the longest drive on two holes, the most accurate drive on two holes, and the closest to the pin on each of the four par-threes, promising a fun and challenging experience for all skill levels.
