If you're a New Yorker, you most likely have heard about a recent stabbing on the subway a few days ago. A 36-year-old man, possibly a mentally challenged individual, was harassing a rider, got into a physical fight with him and then pulled a gun. The rider managed to grab the gun out of the harasser's hands and ended up firing it twice. Police announced that they won't press charges against the shooter, a 32-year-old man who was deemed a victim of harassment.
But did the 36-year-old gun carrier survive this encounter? Well, all we know for now is he's been taken to a hospital in a critical condition. He survived the gunshots, but nothing else was reported to date. An update is expected shortly, but no other news, good or bad, has been shared with the public.
