Earlier today, a lot of reports popped up regarding the recent Brooklyn downtown subway shooting involving two young men at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn station. You'd think that the shooter should have gotten charged and jailed. Well, not really.
As you can tell from the headline, no charges were laid for the alleged shooter who shot the victim at least once or possibly twice. It turns out they were acting in self-defence, and therefore, there was no need for charges, according to the Brooklyn DA.
If you watched the video, you're probably not surprised. If you think about this, it's probably a good thing that the shooter's actions were deemed self-defence.
