Strong Santa Ana Winds Causes at least Two Semi's to Turn Over

SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Strong Santa Ana winds have knocked over at least two semi’s from reports on the CHP traffic log, as of 4pm Thursday afternoon. (Photo of the crash above is credit to Lin Ramos)

The first big rig to blow over was about 7:30am on easthbound 210 freeway just before Cherry Avenue near Interstate 15. The semi landed in the right shoulder of the freeway.

The other one was on northbound I-215 north San Bernardino just after the Palm Ave/Kendall Dr. This semi landed in the left shoulder on top of the guardrail.

The Santa Ana Winds were reporting gusting up to 70+mph in north San Bernardino.

No drivers were injured in each incident.
