NEWARK, N.J. – In a significant development in the fight against gang violence and drug trafficking, Amir Warden, known by the aliases “Stamps” and “Killa,” a high-ranking member of the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips, entered a guilty plea to charges of racketeering conspiracy and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition. The plea was entered before U.S. District Judge Susan D. Wigenton on February 22, as announced by U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger.

Warden, 31, admitted his involvement with the Rollin’ 60s, a notorious gang implicated in numerous acts of violence and drug distribution across New Jersey and beyond, from 2015 to September 22, 2022. His leadership role facilitated the gang's operations, particularly in controlled substance distribution, including a heroin transaction he conducted on August 19, 2019.

The case against Warden also highlighted his illegal possession of firearms and ammunition as a convicted felon. On September 29, 2022, law enforcement discovered Warden with three loaded firearms, three high-capacity drum magazines, and around 1,300 rounds of various ammunition.

The racketeering conspiracy charge could result in up to 20 years in prison and a fine up to $250,000 for Warden, while the firearms charge carries a potential 15-year sentence and up to $250,000 in fines. His sentencing is set for June 25.

U.S. Attorney Sellinger credited the collaborative efforts of multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), IRS-Criminal Investigation, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), among others, for the successful apprehension and prosecution of Warden.

This case is a part of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) initiative, which aims to dismantle the highest-level criminal organizations threatening the United States through a comprehensive, multi-agency approach.

As Warden awaits his sentencing, this case stands as a testament to the ongoing commitment of federal and local law enforcement agencies to curb gang-related activities and ensure public safety.
