A pick-up truck crashed into a field off of Highway 101 South of Los Alamos on Tuesday morning just before 11:30am.
Firefighters from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol responded and found the truck overturned and located in a field.
According to SBC Fire, the driver required light extrication to be freed from the vehicle before being transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital by Helicopter. A female passenger of the truck was able to free herself from the wreckage and was not injured.
The extent of the man’s injuries is not known at this time. No road closures were needed during this incident.
