Longmont, CO - A series of incidents unfolded on Friday, keeping Longmont police on their toes as they responded to various calls throughout the day.

In the early hours at 1:40 a.m., Longmont police attempted to conduct a routine traffic stop near East Ninth Avenue and Lashley Street. However, the driver managed to elude officers, setting off a pursuit.

At 4 a.m., a report of shoplifting in the 2200 block of Mountain View Avenue reached the police, prompting an investigation into the incident.

Later in the morning, at 9:13 a.m., officers turned their attention to a criminal trespass in the 3200 block of Lake Park Way. The suspects involved in the trespass remain unidentified, and investigations are underway.

A significant development occurred at 11:48 a.m. when police arrested a man for drug-related charges during a traffic stop at Airport Road and 17th Avenue.

At 3:27 p.m., officers responded to a theft report in the 1900 block of South Fordham Street in the afternoon, initiating inquiries into the stolen property.

At 4:20 p.m., police received a report of a vehicle trespass in the 3000 block of Lake Park Way. Unfortunately, there are currently no leads on the possible suspects involved in the trespass.

The Longmont Police Department is actively investigating these incidents, and residents are encouraged to come forward with any information that might assist in resolving these cases.
