GOP Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a candidate for the Republican nomination for president, accused President Joe Biden of being missing in action after making a startling discovery during a news conference.

While a war broke out in Israel, some of Biden's detractors accused him of "sleeping on the job," others questioned whether he had received the infamous "3 am phone call" Hillary Clinton once advised every president to be prepared for.

Regarding '7:30, 8 o'clock'—eight hours after Hamas bombed Israel—the president alluded to having phone conversations regarding the developing crisis in the Middle East.

However, others, like DeSantis, are perplexed as to why the president was not awakened during the fiercest attack on Israel in the past 50 years.

Palestinian terrorists invaded Israel from the Gaza Strip in a well-planned, multifaceted attack, taking control of communities and killing residents celebrating a Jewish holiday.

Since Hamas launched its blitz onslaught with missiles and gangs of roving gunmen, attacking civilians and soldiers in dozens of areas, more than 300 Israelis have died, and 1,590 have been injured, according to published accounts from Israel.

Further queries on whether Biden had been informed of the news in the wee hours of the morning surfaced online.

Numerous people responded to the posting on social media by asking why the president only appeared to be informed of the incident in daylight.

Biden accomplishes virtually little before 9 a.m., according to former White House press secretary Jennifer Psaki, who made this revelation earlier this year.

"President Biden does nothing at 9:00 a.m. He is a night owl. So the fact that he is doing this at 9:00 a.m. speaks to how vital the White House recognizes it is for him to have his voice out there," said Psaki.

Another Democrat user was quick to defend when Biden might have received information on the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

"The President, with the Secretary of State by his side at the presser, has to first receive intelligence briefings beforehand about any world event or crises before he goes before the public to speak about any event. Do you want him to get it wrong?" they said.
