Victor 'Vic' Musgrove, a respected local community leader and owner of VIP Styles barber shop in Pittsburgh, was tragically shot and killed. Musgrove, due to marry in just two weeks, was discovered in his car, the victim of a shooting, late last Friday. He had earlier supported Westinghouse's football team at their season opener and later visited the Village Inn on Miller, nearby Farnsworth Ave.
Musgrove's car crash, resulting from the shooting, left behind a trail of damage, including a telephone pole, two cars, and a tree. Responders to the scene found Musgrove with a chest gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died. Pittsburgh's Mayor Ed Gainey, who was a close friend to Musgrove, expressed deep sorrow over the loss.
Musgrove was well-known for his hearty dedication to the Pittsburgh community, including offering free haircuts and mentorship. His contributions will leave a lasting impact on the community. The police are still investigating and no arrests have been made yet.
