Ready to live out your California Dreams? A pop-up Malibu Barbie Café in Chicago opened its doors on June 7 of this month, offering beachy eats, drinks, and fun to Barbies and Kens alike — but you'll only have a limited time to check it out.

According to the event posting, as soon as you step into the café, you'll be transported back to 1970s Malibu Cali with a sea of 'pop'timistic Barbie Colors, laid-back beachy motifs, and lots of retro glam. A photo shared on the event's Facebook page gives a peek into what you can expect, showing a soft interior brushed in shades of peach, accented by pops of blue, green, and light wood tones.

You'll be able to soak up the vibes of the immersive space with a wide range of photo ops inspired by Malibu Barbie too, including a life-sized Barbie Box, a giant boombox backed by a Cali-themed mural, framed arches, decorated porch swing seats, and more.

The menu at this unique pop-up will feature a wide range of items from breakfast bites to lunchtime staples. Expect to chow down on items such as Beachside Breakfast Burritos, Pacific Paradise Rainbow Pancakes, Beach Burgers, Club Sandwiches, and Chicken Tenders.

Those looking for a healthier bite will also find a wedge salad on the menu, as well as vegan options, such as their Avocado Toast, the Live Your Dream Grilled Cheese, and the Golden Coast Cali-flower bowl, featuring curry spiced cauliflower, arugula, pickled onions, quinoa, and covered in a savory tahini sauce.

Aside from an array of casual eats and oodles of photo-ops, an add-on experience offers the option to skate for just $1, with all proceeds to be donated to Girls Inc. Chicago — an organization that delivers life-changing programs and experiences that inspire girls to be strong, smart, and bold enough to overcome life's challenges. Event organizers say that your support helps to ensure that girls in Chicago have opportunities and experiences to thrive in school and in life.

Skating will be based on rink capacity, with the minimum required age to participate set at 5 years old. Kids will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times on the skating rink. All skaters will have to sign a waiver onsite to participate, and skating must take place during your 90-minute reservation time window provided by your ticket.

A limited amount of skates and safety gear will be available on-site, so guests are also encouraged to bring their own.

Tickets to the Malibu Barbie Café range in price from $17 to $25 for children, and $34 to $44 for adults, depending on off-peak dates and times. Your ticket includes your choice of 1 entree and side item, a 90-minute reservation to your table, and full access to the Malibu Barbie Café experience. Additional drinks and shareable bites will be available for purchase.

A brief overview of the event and a link to purchase tickets can be found in the end card below.
