Lake Wales to Resurface Seven Roadways in Historic Core as Part of Pavement Management Program

Several roadways in the city will undergo resurfacing as part of the pavement management program starting on June 12.

The list includes Hesperides Road, Dr. J.A. Wiltshire Ave., Bullard Ave., Johnson Ave., Tillman Ave., Stuart Ave., and 4th St.

City Manager James Slaton said that the program is fully funded for the first time and each of the roadways will be treated and reshaped before a new lift of asphalt is applied.

The city has contracted with Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. for the milling and paving of the roadways.
