According to a June 6th report from MySanAntonio.com, entitled “H-E-B Set to Open its ‘Most Breathtaking’ Store in Central Texas,” today’s ribbon-cutting ceremony was strong on fanfare and promise.
As excerpted from the report: This store is, hands-down, the most breathtaking store in our entire company," H-E-B's Central Texas Regional Vice President Cathy Harm said… The 121,000-square-foot store replaces a now-closed 67,000-square-foot store across Interstate 35, one that, according to speakers on the dais on Tuesday, was in dire need of an upgrade.
In terms of logistics, the report goes on to state: Nearly doubling the old store in size, it includes a double-decker True Texas BBQ (with a drive-thru and full-service bar), a two-lane pharmacy drive-thru, and a fuel station and car wash.
The location opens at 6AM Wednesday, June 7th.
