In the great state of Missouri, there are a ton of great general stores, but this one is a must-visit.
It's called the Pierpont General Store in Columbia, MO.
Their website says, "We like to have a mix of convenience and general goods available. From farm fresh eggs to snacks for your next hiking trip, we have what you need."
"Fun Fact: The store wasn’t always located where it is. It was moved to this current location in 1889. The original foundation still stands and can be found elsewhere in Rock Bridge State Park," their website also says.
This general store is open from 6:30 am to 6 pm on Mondays through Saturdays. On Sundays, they close at 5 pm.
The general store also has a bar & cafe. Their menu includes sandwiches, pizzas, biscuits & gravy, and more!
Their website says, "We recently built out our patio space to include a heated and enclosed seating area for you to enjoy during the colder months. But when the weather’s nice and warm, we have plenty of seating to enjoy a meal and soak up some rays on our outdoor patio."
