New Standard Senior Living has completed the construction of its third affordable assisted living community in South Jersey. The Hammonton community will offer 174 private studio apartments with a kitchenette and private bath. The complex is equipped with 24-hour staff, pharmacy and on-call medical professionals, nursing staff, and a range of medical professionals including dentists and audiologists. The community is pet-friendly and fully ADA accessible. The New Standard Senior Living communities are the first of their kind in New Jersey, and provide seniors with the option to live independently while receiving day-to-day care and support. The communities are designed to accommodate seniors who are not in need of skilled nursing facilities and cannot afford market-rate assisted living rates. The Hammonton community is accepting applications while awaiting approval from the New Jersey Department of Health.
