Ready to get groovy? A Hippie Festival in Michigan may be worth checking out this summer — and they're making stops in 2 cities across The Mitt this year.
The 2-day family-friendly music and arts festival will feature a lineup of entertainment that's great for all ages while celebrating peace and love, first taking over Treetoad Family Farm in Trufant this June 10th and 11th from noon to 7 pm. If you're not able to make it to the farm, a second stop at Val-Du-Lakes Resort in Mears will take place this fall on September 9th and 10th.
Alongside rows of vendors offering a variety of craft goods and delicious eats, Hippie Fest 2023 will host a smorgasbord of live entertainment, from Woodstock Tribute Bands to eclectic side performers, as well as drum circles, DIY tie-dye booths, a giant bubble garden, fun photo-ops, and a cool car show.
Those not from Michigan hoping to hit up this fest may also be excited to find that Hippie Fest will also make stops in Ohio, Nebraska, Indiana, and Georgia. You can find the full festival schedule and their locations below:
- Trufant, Michigan — June 10 & 11, 2023
- Hocking Hills, Ohio — August 12 & 13, 2023
- Omaha, Nebraska — August 26 & 27, 2023

- Tipton, Indiana — September 23 & 24, 2023

Those wanting to showcase their performing talents, hand-made goods, or their hippest vehicle still have a chance to be a part of this fest. As of publication, 'Michigan's Grooviest Weekend' is still accepting vendors, performers, and cars for their showcase through their website.
Due to parking limitations, tickets must be reserved in advance online. Single-day tickets are going for $20 each, while 2-day admission will only cost an additional $10, at $30 each.
