Recently, one website made a list of the best All-You-Can-Eat buffets in the United States. Here's what the one in Illinois was.
It was the Red Apple Buffet in Chicago, IL.
The website says, "The Red Apple Buffet opened in the Chicago neighborhood of Avondale in 1989 (via Block Club Chicago). For 30 years, it was known for offering cheap, delicious Polish cuisine, among other European dishes. The family-owned restaurant opened a second location in Norwood Park a few years after the first."
This buffet is open from 4 pm to 8 pm on Fridays. On Saturdays and Sundays, they are open from 12 pm to 8 pm.
The restaurant's website says, "For a quarter of a century, we have been sharing our tradition of hand-baked goods, organic fare, high-quality meats, and fresh fruit and vegetables in our Polish restaurant. To us, there is nothing more important than family or more binding than the food that brings us together. We believe in our heritage, our traditions, and in you, our nearest and dearest family."
On April 8th and 9th, this restaurant will be serving a huge Easter Buffet!
"Our family came to America from Poland but our buffet food is more than just a Polish story. In centuries past, Poland was ruled by an Italian Queen and a Hungarian King, and its borders merged back and forth with both Germany and Russia, making it a true melting pot of cultures. And like any good American restaurant with buffets, so too is our menu," their website goes on to say.
