At this point, I’m too old to endure the opinions of uneducated people. I don’t have the patience for it. All of my life, I’ve had to put up with individuals who insist they are right despite all evidence to the contrary.
I’m tired of people who insist that god is talking directly to them and telling them what to do. God isn’t talking to them. Whatever voices they hear in their heads do not have a divine origin.
There was a time in our country when people understood the value of an education. People aspired to earn one. They put in hard work. They bettered themselves. They studied. They showed respect for other people who had demonstrated the discipline and determination required to get a degree.
Those days are long gone.
It used to be that if a child was failing a class, the parents would step in and get the child to behave. These days, entitled, uneducated parents are more inclined to go and protest the teacher.
Today, uneducated voters are creating a country where books are banned from shelves. Uneducated voters talk about concepts they don’t even define. They use concepts like “woke” or “critical race theory” to cheer as authoritarian politicians strip education of funding.
How ignorant do you have to be?
Why are people so outraged over concepts they can’t even define? It’s because they’re uneducated. Uneducated people are easy to enrage. They’re too ignorant to recognize when they’re being played.
Uneducated opinions don’t help us at any level of our society. If you’re in an operating room, you don’t want some uneducated person barging in to tell the doctor she doesn’t need to wear a mask.
For the moment, we still understand that. However, the way the opinions of uneducated people flood the media, I’m fearful that things are going to get worse instead of better. After all, during the pandemic, uneducated people screamed and yelled about wearing masks every day.
Our children shouldn’t be exposed to uneducated opinions, yet uneducated opinions are in every newspaper and are featured in every television broadcast.
A couple of years ago, uneducated people marched on the Capitol with violence in their hearts. Today, uneducated people insist that wasn’t an act of treason, or an attempt to overthrow the government. Often, the media fails to report it as such.
People were killed. Property was destroyed. The members of Congress huddled in terror. What else can you call an event like that?
Too many Americans celebrate the idea of not being educated. A lot of money is spent reassuring people that their opinion is still valid even though they haven’t shown the discipline required to get an education.
Do you know what it takes to educate yourself? It takes a work ethic. If you don’t have the discipline to pick up a book and read, then you don’t have a work ethic. If you get all your information from the news, you don’t have a work ethic.
If you don’t have a work ethic, you’re a drag on our whole society.
Go read a book. Get a work ethic. Stop being uneducated.
People often talk about phrases like “common sense.” Unfortunately, uneducated people like to believe they can oversimplify everything.
You’ve got people in our society who spend hours and hours performing complex experiments. They back up these experiments with advanced calculations. They produce results that seem contrary to conventional thinking.
Uneducated people look at those results and think, “Well, that can’t be right.
Then our society offers equal validation to baseless, ignorant assessments. People try to insist that an uneducated opinion has the same value as an educated one.
It doesn’t. It simply doesn’t. If you’re uneducated, learn to have a little respect for people who have a work ethic and who have put in the time necessary to better themselves.
This isn’t an elitist opinion. It’s a statement of fact. If you haven’t shown the work ethic to improve yourself, then it’s best if you keep your ignorant opinions to yourself. Too many people in the United States of America make their decisions without understanding the facts. In the worst cases, they deny the facts.
Does every parent in the United States want their children to grow up to be unskilled laborers? Why is it so hard to understand that if your children don’t have an education, they don’t have any freedom? If your children don’t have an education, they don’t have the power to negotiate their wages.
One significant issue is that the price of education has gotten way out of control. Don’t you understand that this has been done deliberately? Education is too expensive because uneducated rural voters have worked to elect politicians who want to strip the whole population of access to a good education.
It’s because uneducated people are easy to control.
So, these deceitful politicians sit around playing to the ego of the uneducated. They say, “Your uneducated opinion has the same value as an educated one. There’s no need to read any books. There’s no need to better yourself.”
Uneducated people are vulnerable to that kind of ego-stroking. The result is that education budgets are slashed, and now it’s nearly impossible for working-class people to send their children to college.

Some people talk about trade schools. Well, guess what, a trade school is an example of higher education. That’s great. Yes, please go to trade school. Please get any form of education you can. Take advantage of any opportunity to learn. That means putting down your phone, shutting off the television, and going to the library.
The United States of America is not going to be able to compete in the global marketplace if we continue to tolerate this attitude of disrespect toward the concept of education. Other countries in the world know the value of educating their population.
The United States of America doesn’t recognize how important it is to educate people.
We need to work to make advanced education affordable and accessible. We need to show respect to individuals who have the work ethic necessary to better themselves. We need to remember that an ignorant opinion isn’t worth as much as an educated one.
That’s how we make our country better. Falsely elevating ignorant opinions can only weaken us.
