An alleged shocking incident last year of sexual exploitation of a child has culminated in the arrest of a security guard. He belongs to the Denver Public Schools.
Jeffrey James Blanchard, the 27-year old is accused of sexually exploiting a class five student.

The accused is alleged to have uploaded several child sexual exploitation images on Snapchat in March 2021. The National Center of Missing and Exploited Children was warned by the company. Following it, they made their way to the Lakewood Police Department this March, after Blanchard was detected by the investigators.

Who is Blanchard?
The accused has been working as a security guard for seven years now; four years at local hospitals such as Littleton Hospital and St. Anthony's Hospital and three years for Denver Public Schools Campus Safety.
According to the District Attorney's office, he was working as the security guard at JFK High School in Denver, during that incident. Very recently, he had a tenure at the Hamilton Middle School as well, as a security guard.
After his arrest on 14th December, he got bail on bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11th January 2023.
Currently, he's not affiliated with DPS anymore.
A DPS spokeswoman said,
"It is our top priority to ensure the safety and security of all our students. DPS can't comment on the ongoing investigation. A notification to parents at potentially affected schools was sent."
