The Bolt Creek Fire was detected on September 10, 2022 and is burning north of Skykomish, WA. It is being managed by Western Washington Incident Management Team 3. As of October 1st, the Bolt Creek fire is 12,625 acres and 36 percent contained. 158 people are assigned to the fire. As of Saturday, October 1st, all evacuations for the Bolt Creek Fire have been lifted. US 2 is now open through the length of the fire area. Please follow posted reduced speed limits as there are still crews working on and near the road. Beckler Road remains closed to the public as crews continue to work in the area. The Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest has implemented an Emergency Closure on National Forest lands. Roads, trails, and campgrounds are closed.
