(Los Angeles, CA) - When you're standing in line at your favorite coffee shop, staring at all the delicious options on display, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. Which drink should I get? What if I don't like it? What if they mess it up?

But then you look around and notice that everyone else seems to be ordering the same thing. So you do too—and sometimes, it turns out to be exactly what you wanted.

That's why Yelp has revealed its list of most popular regional chain coffee businesses for National Coffee Day in 2022.

So whether it's time for an afternoon pick-me-up or an evening wind down with friends, check out the best small regional chain (under 25 stores) according to Yelp - and it's found in Greater Los Angeles.

Yelp explains the methodology: "The top regional coffee chains were ranked by analyzing the distribution of ratings for reviews mentioning “coffee” from July 2021 through July 2022 across all business locations. Regional coffee chains are defined as brands that offer mainly coffee, have more than 25 locations, and operate in fewer than 25 states."

The atmosphere is welcoming with lots of natural light coming through all the windows which makes it feel more open than most other coffee shops I've been too (which can sometimes feel cramped).

The decor is modern but also has lots of touches of Latin American culture throughout which gives it an authentic feel rather than just another generic coffee shop chain like Starbucks.

Tierra Mia Coffee now have 16 stores in Los Angeles County, and three in Orange County, and one in Northern California.

One reviewer exclaimed,

"Oh wow! I'm so glad I tried it here. I was headed towards Starbucks and saw this shop and thought, "what the hay?!" I got a horchata iced coffee - very good!" - Jenae S.

While another noted:

Mexican chocolate ice blended treat was delicious! I had read reviews about the coffee here and was in the area, so I stopped on. The pastries were also rich and flavorful. I would definitely go back and try the other flavored coffees and baked items. Definitely lives up to their reputation and the friendly staff are patient and help with suggestions. highly recommended." - Ronald S.
