Indiana police have arrested a robbery suspect they say assaulted a homeowner and his own girlfriend last weekend.
Back on Sunday morning, a homeowner on Mexico Ridge Road heard a vehicle pull up to his home. When he went into his garage he caught a man stealing his table saw. The robber tied up the homeowner and beat the man. Police sustained the victim had black eyes, bruises, and a cut that required stitches.

Fortunately, after the robber left, the man was able to get loose and go to a neighbor's house for help. When deputies from the OCSD arrived on the scene, they discovered a bloody scene with bloody footprints throughout the home and basement. They also saw the black cable the robber used to ties the man to a chair. Further investigation revealed the robber took the table saw, several firearms, and other items from the home.

The victim was able to describe the robber's SUV and a neighbor's home security camera also caught it on video.
Then things started to get interesting. Detectives from the Indiana State Police responded to a 9-1-1 call for domestic battery from the girlfriend of Marvin Moyers, Jr. When officers arrived at his home, they spotted a red SUV matching the description of the vehicle used in the robbery.

The woman told police she'd come to the home to retrieve her property and spotted a gun and laptop in the home that she thought were stolen. Police arrested Moyers for domestic battery and took him into custody. They then got a search warrant for the home.
Officers discovered several items taken in the robbery including, a shotgun, cigars, and electronic devices.
Moyers is due in court on the charges.
