Police say six people were shot overnight in three separate incidents. Now, the surge of violence has investigators from the IMPD working overtime.
The first call came in at 12:30 am. Officers responded to 10th Street and Mitthoefer Road where they found a man and a child had been shot at an apartment complex.

The third call came in at 1 am, when a woman was shot at West 19th and Dexter Streets. At 1:30 am, two victims suffering from gunshot wounds showed up at Eskenazi Hospital. Officers suspect those injuries are related to the third shooting.
