The South Stage at Nokomis Memorial Park will be jam-packed with music and entertainment during the 166th annual Nokomis Homecoming celebration, July 8-10. Be sure to bring some chairs and prepare to stick around on all three nights.

The celebration kicks off with the Cutest Baby Content at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 8, followed by the Homecoming royalty pageant for Miss Nokomis, Junior Miss Nokomis, Little Miss Nokomis, and Little Mister Nokomis at 7 p.m. No entertainment will be on stage following the end of the pageant.

Prepare for some juggling fun on Saturday as you are entertained by juggler Brian Pankey. Pankey is a world-class juggler that has been featured on America's Got Talent, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Gong Show, and America's Funniest Home Videos. He will be performing from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Colin Helton Band, featuring Nokomis native Bill Steele, will be performing enjoyable music ranging from the 1960s to today on the South Stage from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Entertainment will not be limited to the South Stage. Money Shot from Alton will be performing a wide catalog of favorites from the 1950s to today in the Knights of Columbus beer tent Sunday from 8 p.m. to midnight.

The Nokomis Homecoming Association invites everyone to come out and enjoy the entertainment options provided free of charge.

Another thing to note is to respect all park property, refrain from bringing individual coolers, and most importantly, please pay attention to the No Parking signs around the premises of the park. Nokomis Police Department will be issuing tickets for those parked in those zones.
