An Indiana mom faces charges of murder and child neglect after cops say she gunned down her lover after an argument.
IMPD says 32-year-old Tonika Miller left her children alone in an apartment to head to a nearby playground to have sex with her live-in lover Dashawn Roscoe. The pair shared a bedroom at the Carriage House East Apartments with their two kids, so they decided to head outside for some one-on-one.
Just before 1am, the two left the kids to go to the playground, where they had sex and then got into an argument. Miller admitted to officers that she carried a handgun with her for protection since they were out late at night. She left Roscoe at the playground and drove home.
She went back to look for him later and finally caught up with him outside of their apartment building. Security video shows Roscoe attempting to get into her car. Police say the video shows the two got into an altercation and the gun went off, shooting Roscoe in the head and killing him.
Police charged Miller with reckless homicide and child neglect.
