Tuesday evening, a man shot at a Virginia police officer before fleeing in a stolen police vehicle and crashing.

Officers arrived at a home on Farmer Lane after receiving a report of an armed man making threats. There were other men standing nearby when officers discovered the suspect's vehicle. One of the policemen identified one of the men as the suspect and attempted to arrest him.
When the individual struggled, an officer used a stun gun on him. The suspect took a handgun from his pants and fired three rounds at him.

As other officers arrived, the man jumped into a police cruiser and drove away. The other officers chased after the stolen cruiser for a few streets before it crashed and the man was apprehended.
Police did not fire any shots during the altercation, and the only injury was a minor stun gun wound to the suspect.
