There was a crash in Pine Township yesterday that killed one person and injured a pregnant woman and child.
Just after noon on Saturday, a crash occurred at Stanton Road and M-91.

The police investigated witness statements and found that the 70-year-old woman failed to stop at the stop sign at M-91 while driving a pickup truck east on Stanton Road.
Michigan State Police report that she collided with a car traveling south on M-91 driven by an 8-month pregnant 34-year-old woman.

In this case, the 70-year-old pickup truck driver died at the scene.
In addition to the driver, the passenger of the other vehicle, a 9-year-old girl, suffered minor injuries in the crash, according to Michigan State Police.
An investigation into the accident continues.
