Skid Steer Bucket Stolen from Hardin Jefferson School Construction Crew

The Hardin County Sheriff's Office and the SETX ATTF are looking for information related to the theft of a skid steer bucket from the construction crew at Hardin Jefferson school grounds. The vehicle appears to be a GMC or Chevrolet pickup. If you have any information, please contact Inv. Walters at 409-730-4410 or the Hardin County Sheriff's office at 409.246-5101.

Community Development Block Grant for Hardin County

Hardin County has been awarded Community Development Block Grant Funds to assist low-to-moderate income property owners with the replacement of on-site sewer facilities (OSSFs). Eligible properties will be located within unincorporated areas of the County. Properties may be in need of first-time installation of an on-site septic system or have existing on-site septic systems in need of replacement due to leaking, deterioration, or other conditions that pose a hazard to health and safety.

Property owners interested in participating in the program will need to complete an application and provide the required documentation on or before May 15, 2022. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
