A man in Kentucky was arrested and charged with shooting his own mom on Mother’s Day.
Jacob Small reportedly got into a fight with his mother, Amber Powell, in Wayne County over an Xbox controller that he had gotten her for Mother’s Day.
When Powell attempted to leave the home, Small shot a rifle towards the vehicle, and his mother was struck by the bullet.
Powell’s condition has not been released, but she was transferred to a local hospital for treatment. Small is charged with criminal mischief, assault, and attempted murder.
