The iconic carbonated soft drink known as Coca-Cola has the distinct logo of white letters on a stark red background, complemented with a white swirl, celebrating its 136 years as perhaps the most iconic soft drink. To celebrate, the Coca-Cola bottling company has constructed the open happiness logo art for the anniversary, and packages will contain one of eight free fridge magnets to commemorate the occasion. Coca-Cola Classic is the top-selling soda worldwide; international brands are distributed, such as Diet Coke, Sprite, and Fanta.

Generation X kids may remember New Coke; according to Sean Jamieson, writer of the Spokesman-Review, in April of 1985, the company changed the formula and received a positive buzz from taste tests. The backlash against New Coke culminated with nostalgia for that classic taste and brought back Coca-Cola Classic using the original formula in late July 1985.Nostalgia for the classic taste of Coke, thanks to the backlash against New Coke, was renamed Coke II and sold up until 2002. The year it was discontinued.
