The Stewart County Sheriff’s Office after a lengthy investigation charged four (4) individuals including the owner of MiMi’s Daycare on Peachers Lane on Thursday, May 5th. In a press release by Sheriff Frankie Gray, an investigation began after complaints were filed by parents.
Investigator Lee Miller and Dana Saltkill determined that the daycare was giving the children melatonin to make them sleep longer.
The investigation involves 26 children over a 2-year period with children from ages 6 years old to infants being involved.
Arrested are Jaime Clark, Kristin Clark, Jordan Darnell, and Ethan Pulley.
