A 28-year-old woman dated her 38-year-old fiancé for 2 years, and just a week ago, he proposed to her.

She said yes, and she was looking forward to being able to blend their families together. She has a 6-year-old son, and her fiancé has a 15-year-old daughter.

Her fiancé was married before, but his wife passed away 5 years ago.

"When my fiancé and I started to date, I noticed that his daughter had the master bedroom," she explained.

"I found it weird because I've never seen a child taking over the master bedroom before, but he brushed it off saying that the house was ''hers'' so it was normal she slept there, with no further explanation."

She figured that her fiancé meant that if he ever passed away the house would then belong to his daughter.

She thought it was incredibly strange since he was very much so alive, but she didn't ask any questions. They were freshly dating and she knew it was best to not pry, so she didn't.

As soon as she got engaged to her fiancé, she brought up that she expected to move into his house before they picked out a date for their wedding.

Her fiancé agreed to this, and he also suggested that they could go out and buy a house together as that is something they will need to do.

She questioned her fiancé on what was "wrong" with the house he currently lived in, and he replied that the house was his daughter's.

She got really upset with her fiancé, pointing out that it was not ok for him to say the house belonged to his daughter.

They were going to get married and her fiancé was going to adopt her son, so she felt it was wrong for him to not say the house would belong to her and him.

"So now the house should be ours and not only hers, I also said I wanted his daughter out of the master because it was ours," she said.

"He got a little nervous and said that the house really belonged to his late wife and when she passed, the house became his daughter's."

Her fiancé informed her that he saved up enough money to purchase 60% of the house, but if they did want to buy it from his daughter they would need to come up with the additional 40% together.

"I was shocked and said that he could ask her daughter for the house because she's only 15 and he is her dad but he said no, that it was his daughter's," she continued.

"I got angry and called him a jerk because he should've told me the truth before and he said that it's not like we will be homeless or anything, we still have 3 years and maybe 4 after that because his daughter will leave for college."

She then demanded to know what else in her fiancé's life was actually his daughter's and not his. He told her that his car was his daughter's, which angered her since she always uses this car.

When his daughter leaves for college, she also will be taking the car with her. She again called her fiancé a jerk before storming out with her son in tow.

She went to her mom and dad's house and told her family about what happened. Her brother laughed in her face and accused her of being a golddigger and a terrible person.

She felt completely secure and justified in how she handled things, but then her fiancé found her complaint filled post online.

Her engagement is currently over, as her fiancé asked her to give her engagement ring, as well as his car that she drove away in.

Do you think she was right to feel betrayed by her fiancé over the fact that he never went into greater detail about his daughter owning his house and car?
