Hi friends! Happy Wednesday!

Today has been such a great day. Not only did I get a FREE iced latte from Dunkin Donuts, but I also ventured down town in Fredonia to a local record store, Rhythm & Grooves. I've been meaning to head down there and check it out. I'm SO glad I did.

I walked in and was greeted by the owner, Derek. He was a very kind and cool dude! The store itself was actually really neat. It was quiet, but super organized and had a nice vibe. All the records were organized by genre and in alphabetical order. In addition, there were a ton of rad posters hanging on the walls.

We ended up talking about lots of things including school and of course got on the topic of The Beatles. He showed me the newest edition of George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass 50th Anniversary" album and the book that came along with it. Super cool!

It was honestly super nice to have a conversation about music with someone who is just as passionate and knows a lot about music from the 60s like I do.

Now, I bet you're wondering what I got. I ended up going with four albums and one 45. All added up to a little over $20!!!!

First was Paul McCartney's 1970 album "McCartney". I was super excited for this find! In one month tomorrow I'll be seeing Paul McCartney for the first time!!!!

Next was an album by The Chiffons including hits of the 50s and 60s. I absolutely love the songs "He's So Fine" & "Sweet Talkin' Guy" so this album was very much needed. I've always liked The Chiffons too.

Next was the album "Presenting: Dion & The Belmonts". I have been a huuuuuge fan of Dion ever since I was a teenager. I have such a soft spot for Doo Top groups like The Belmonts. I have my Aunt Jayne to thank for getting me into 50s/60s doo top groups.

Next up is America's 1975 album, "Hearts". I've recently really been into America so when I found this album I had to snag it! Super happy!

Lastly, I got a 45 by Shelley Fabares. I absolutely love the song "Johnny Angel" so again, I had to buy it.

So, I'd say it overall was a great day with a ton of good finds. If your in the area, I HIGHLY recommend you check out Rhythm and Grooves.
