Bridgerton seasons one and two portray a fantasy world of what could be a reality if the people who believe themselves to be superior because of the color of their skin would accept we are all equal humans. Regardless of our race, color or creed.

Season one didn’t have the same effect on my brain. No earworms. Season two, however, wowed my senses, caused me to jump up off the sofa and sway to the delightful strings breathing new life into older popular tunes.

Nirvana’s Stay Away fits perfectly with the emotions exhibited on-screen between Viscount Anthony Bridgerton and Miss Kate Sharma. Performed by Vitamin String Quartet (VSQ). The song performed by VSQ was originally a tribute to Nirvana. As the Queen mentions in the quote above, the song also works for the mysterious Lady Whistledown.

If you watched season one of Bridgerton, you’d have been wowed by the multitude of skin colors and popular actors playing the parts of nobility and aristocracy.
Golda Rosheuvel has played many roles in British TV shows, including Luther and Torchwood, and long-running series, such as Silent Witness. Now she plays decadent and dismissive Queen Charlotte in Bridgerton. Fans will be glad to hear Shonda Rhimes has a new Queen Charlotte Project mini-series filming currently.
American producer, Shonda Rhimes, is well known for Grey’s Anatomy, now in its eighteenth year. The show ranks eighth in the 10 Longest-running TV Shows. My favorites include Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder, ranked in first and second places above Grey’s Anatomy.
I particularly like that Shondaland TV and Ms. Rhimes productions that all skin colors are represented. Black and white women hold positions of power as well as men.

As for the earworms coursing through my brain waves, I highly recommend them. Watching Bridgerton season two brings visual and audio pleasure to our senses. But also guessing the names of the classics covers is a joy, too.
You could listen to the songs on YouTube or compete with family and friends while watching Bridgerton on Netflix to guess the song first! Some are easy, others, not so much.
