Comedian Lauren Knight went viral after she got into a back and forth with T.I. at a comedy club.
T.I. claims he went off on Knight because she kept bringing up recent allegations against him and his wife, Tiny Harris.
"I'm talking about marriage and s---t [and] he keeps cutting me off, telling me to 'shut the f---k,' calling me all kinds of b---ches, heckling me," she claimed. "So, I'm like, 'Alright, c'mon. Stop playing with me. It's crazy, like you keep going and I can't say nothing to you,'" she said in the video.
"I said, 'Alright, I'll take my wig off when you speak on the allegations.' Nobody was tight, except for him. Nobody called him a rapist," Lauren explained. "I responded to him telling me, in a room full of people, to rip my wig off, and made a joke just like he did. So if you gotta a problem with it, not mine."
After T.I.'s rant, he walked onto the stage and hugged her. But Knight says that the rapper's recollection of what went down is a lie, and that his fans are not sending her death threats.
"See it went from something simple that should've got squashed and settled to this man using his platform to lie on me to justify some bullshit. Everybody is tripping. I just wanna do comedy. @troubleman31 run me my million," she wrote alongside a video of T.I. speaking on the encounter.
"We ended on a positive note now you lying and saying shit to weaponize your fan base and THAT I'm not here for. Idgaf about how y'all feel I'm here for the truth. I'm getting death threats and harassed cause a n---ga wanna lie. That's lame as hell. This s---t is aggy and most importantly I have no reason to lie. Oh btw— $lkcomedy #imserious #maddangerous"
In May, the Los Angeles Police Department announced that T.I. and Tiny were under investigation following multiple allegations of sexual assault against the two of them. At least 30 people stepped forward, and at least 17 of came forward in March to press charges.
The victims have accused a couple of varying degrees of sexual abuse, drugging, and harassment.
In September, the LAPD case against T.I. and Tiny was closed.
