Fans will once again see Bae Suzy performing as she will be releasing her first digital single after four years. The 27-year-old star is back and her new song is about to drop later this month.

Bae Suzy's agency, Management SOOP, announced its talent's new project on Wednesday, Feb. 9. The label also unveiled the first teaser image for the song, titled "Satellite."

AllKpop noted "Satellite" is a collaboration project with producer Kang Hyun Min. Lee Min Ho's ex also had a part in writing its lyrics.

Inspired by the British pop genre, the song tells the feeling of longing, yearning and devotion. This will also be the "Ashfall" star's first official music release since leaving JYP Entertainment.

Though she has participated in collaboration albums or official soundtracks of her past K-dramas, the new song will mark her official return as a singer. The actress' last music release was her second mini-album, "Faces of Love," in 2018.

"It took a long time to complete the song and it will highlight Suzy's ability as a vocalist," Management SOOP's spokesperson said via Korea JoongAng Daily. With the number of years that Bae Suzy has stopped making new music, the agency believes there will be a renewed interest in her new song.

As of late, the former Miss A member has been focusing on her acting career. However, it has been nearly two years since she had a TV project. She was last seen in the TV series "Start Up" in 2020 and there are rumors there may be "Vagabond" Season 2 and it's, reportedly, filming secretly.

Devdiscourse noted the series has left a lot of unanswered questions that needed some answers. With that being said, an alleged production insider revealed it could return with a second season.

In fact, Lee Seung Gi himself, who plays the role of Cha Dal Gun, expects there will be a new season after the many stories left untold. He told AllKpop in 2019 that the first season finale's ending seemed not to properly end the series.

So there should be "Vagabond" Season 2. "When you watch American dramas, many of them end similarly, leaving you going, 'Huh?' he said.

However, he believes it still depends on fans and the business matters if there will be a second season. If this happens, Lee Seung Gi wants to be a part of it again, of course, along with Bae Suzy.
