Erica Mena insists she's not buying Safaree recent apology during a recent episode of VH1's "Love And Hip Hop: Family Reunion."
Safaree appeared to take accountability for his past actions while offering up a seemingly sincere apology to the reality television star, ex-wife and mother of his two children.
"I'm sorry for putting us in situations where, you know, you have to question our trust," he said. "I take full accountability I apologize for how I treated you during your pregnancy. It wasn't right. I don't have any excuse."
Erica then asked him why he decided to apologize at that moment.
"I just want to be better, be better for our family," he replied.
But Erica's not biting.
"SMH All of this and yet It was a lie folks," she wrote in the comments section. "Alll A LIE once again. Now let's all move on. Happy and healing all 2022. My three kids and I appreciate our new chapter."
Erica has been through a lot with Safaree over the past year.
In February, Safaree tweeted: "I mean this from the bottom of my heart getting married was 1 of my BIGGEST mistakes and it will never happen again." He continued, "I'm walking away before I End up in jail over some dumb sh*t. Nobody is worth my freedom."
The couple tied the knot in New Jersey in October 2019 and welcomed their first child Safire in February 2020. After splitting in May, Erica filed for divorce.
According to court documents, Erica says her marriage to Saferee is "irretrievably broken" with "no hope of reconciliation."
She requested joint legal custody and final decision-making authority, per Entertainment Tonight. She is also asking for physical custody of Safire on a temporary and permanent basis, "with the parties having parenting time as determined in the minor children's best interests."
