Rancho Park, Los Angeles: One person was ejected and died in a freeway collision with a big rig early Thursday morning.
California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a multiple vehicle crash involving a big rig on the Westbound 10 Freeway right before the 405 at around 2:08 a.m. in the Rancho Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
When CHP arrived on the scene, officers found one person laying on the freeway ejected from a silver SUV that was involved in a collision with a big rig. The person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
CHP is investigating the crash and a Sig Alert was issued for the Westbound 10 closure of all but one lane in the area of the incident.
