The Independent Investigations Division of the Office of the Attorney General has identified the man who died while in custody at a Maryland State Police barrack in Centreville on January 21. He is identified as 64-year-old Armar Womack of Delaware.
The involved officers are employees of the Maryland State Police. Because of security concerns, the Independent Investigations Division is not releasing the names of the troopers at this point.
The Independent Investigations Division continues to investigate the circumstances of the in-custody death.
