Newton County, MO: A fire completely destroyed an RV early Monday morning, Jan. 24, in rural Newton County.

Charred remains were left after a fire ripped through an RV on C Highway.Billy Wade/KNN

Redings Mill Fire Protection District, Joplin Fire Department, Newton County ambulance and Newton County Sheriff's office all responded to the call of the approximately 4:00 a.m. fire.

Firefighters extinguished the flames that engulfed an RV early Monday morning.Billy Wade/KNN

The incident occurred on C Highway in rural Newton County, just south of Joplin. No injuries were reported.
