The Sabatinis, Joe and his wife Danielle, have put so much effort into their Haverford home that when they move soon to Chester County, it will be their last home, writes Paul Jablow for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The couple bought their corner property in the Pilgrim Gardens section of Haverford in 2018 after renting in Broomall. The three-bedroom, 2-1/2-bath home underwent a conversion to natural gas, had a new patio added, and the basement waterproofed.

They redid two of the bathrooms, replaced every window, and did major landscaping.

“The bones are nice, but we put in a lot of work,” Sabatini says.

The 2,760 square-foot home sits on a large, double-wide lot.

“It’s different from the other houses in the neighborhood,” Danielle says. “It flows really nicely. You’re not smack up against your neighbor.”

The home features two separate living/family rooms, a formal dining space, and a fully finished basement.

The kitchen is newly updated. It has granite countertops, Shaker-style cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances.

Upstairs, there’s a sunroom off the back. A primary bedroom has ample closet space and an en suite bathroom.

It is listed by Dan Baer of Compass Pennsylvania for $469,900.
