Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle combined two nude nail polishes and used them for their respective wedding days. A fashion expert claimed that this was against the royal protocol, which does not permit bright and dark colors.
Speaking to Express UK, Daena Borrowman of jewelrybox explained that royal women are not allowed to paint their fingernails with such tones. She added that "only nude shades, sheer whites, and light pinks'' are permitted.
But, it appeared that the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex wore bright shades when they became official members of the British Royal Family. As reported, the latter mixed the Negligee and Unmasked colors from CND Shellac, while the former combined Bourjois' 28 Rose Lounger and Essie's 423 Allure.
