Herbein + Company, a Spring Township-based certified public accounting firm, has acquired Pottstown-based Cappelletti, Pinter & Company and Royersford-based The LaMastra Group P.C., writes Evan Jones for the Reading Eagle.
Matthew Cappelletti Jr., CPA, leads Cappelletti, Pinter & Company. As part of the merger, he will join Herbein as a senior consultant. The firm has four more team members.
Meanwhile, the LaMastra Group is led by Carl A. LaMastra, CPA. He will also join Herbein as a partner. The firm has two more team members.
Herbein, currently out of Berks County, first established its presence in Montgomery County six years ago, when acquiring Pottstown-based Michael L. Cross & Company.
According to Managing Partner David W. Stonesifer, CPA, these latest acquisitions represent the firm’s continuous commitment to invest in the region.
