A mother from managed to track down the young man who murdered her teenage son in an alleged game of 'Russian Roulette.'

At a news conference on Friday, Leslie Bell said she retraced her son Isaiah Davis' steps to see who he was with.

"I knew that it was him who hurt my son, who actually killed my son," Bell said after coming across the suspect---Faheem Norwood. "It was his interaction with me. He couldn't give me eye contact, so that was it for me."

The 17-year-old high school senior was killed on Oct. 28 murder. Prosecutors say the pair were in a home in Burnham when Norwood pointed a gun at Davis and asked, “Would you take one for your boys” before pulling the trigger. Norwood then pointed the gun at Davis a second time and pulled the trigger again and it was the second time, that the gun went off.

Prosecutors also allege Norwood attempted to Davis' body on fire after moving him to an abandoned apartment in Riverdale--- and then an abandoned alley in Harvey.

However, Norwood's attorney argued that Norwood accidentally shot Davis during a game of "Russian roulette," and that Davis' death was an accident.

Norwood was on parole for a charge related to the Oct. 24, 2010 robbery and murders of Donysha Stovall, 28, Shaquill Davis, 16, Clarisma Torry, 10, and the attempted murder of a 4-year-old, police at the time. He was found not guilty of murder but was incarcerated on other related charges.

He was soon back on the streets.

"He should have never been able to walk the streets ever, after all of that," Bell said. "My son would still be alive."

Her son planned to go into the National Guard after graduating from high school and planned to study law.

Harvey police and Cook County prosecutors praised Bell for her detective work.

"I thank the family of Isaiah Davis, his mother and her sisters for working with us to help bring this dangerous man to justice," Harvey Police Deputy Chief Cameron Biddings said per NBC 5. "The arrest of Faheem Norwood was possible because the community worked with us."
