Water Main Break Floods 2 Blocks in Westlake

Westlake: A water main break was reported at approximately 2:25 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, near the intersection of South Grand View Street and West 6th Street.

Los Angeles Fire Department responded and requested the LA Department of Water and Power to the location for a water main break on Grand View, just north of 6th Street. Flooding from the main break extended approximately two blocks with heavy water flow into storm drains.

The arrival of DWP crews was not determined at time of coverage for this incident.
